How to Get Here



By Car

  • Whichever way you approach Edinburgh by road, take the City Bypass (A720) to the Straiton Junction
  • Leave the bypass at this junction via the A701 towards the City Centre.
  • Head north approx 3 miles until you reach a large junction- Cameron Toll
  • Continue on the A701 City Centre Kingsley is about 300 metres on the left prior to the traffic lights.

By Train at Edinburgh, Waverley

Bus from City Centre

  • Leave the station by the Princes Street exit. On the north side outside Marks and Spencers you can take the bus number 3, 29, 31, 37.  From the South Bridge you can take bus numbers 7, 8 or 49.
  • Bus tickets cost £1.80 for a single or £4.50 for a day ticket. You can you your chip and pin card o pay on the bus.

Taxi from Waverley Station

  • You can take a Black Taxi, for up to 6 passengers, from within the Rail Station to Kingsley Guest House.
  • The journey is 10 minutes and will cost approx. £8 - £10

From Edinburgh Bus Station

By Air at Edinburgh Airport

Travelling from the Airport by Car

  • Take the A8 towards Edinburgh and follow signs for the A720 (City Bypass)
  • Take the City Bypass for approx 10 miles to the Straiton Junction
  • Leave the Bypass at this junction via the A701 towards the City Centre.
  • Head North approx 3 miles until you reach a large junction- Cameron Toll.
  • Continue on the A701 City Centre Kingsley is about 300 metres on the left prior to the traffic lights.
  • There is free parking on the adjacent streets of Suffolk Road or Wilton Road.

Airport Bus 

  • The Airport Bus 100 or Tram takes you into the city centre from there you can take a local bus to Kingsley.
  • We suggest you download the Transport for Edinburgh App on your mobile and enter Suffolk Road as your destination.

Airport TAXI

  • A taxi from the airport to Kingsley should take 20 minutes, costing approx £25.
